Starting from this year, NTA will adhere to revised tie-breaking guidelines for NEET 2024.

Previous Tie-Breaking Rule: In the past, ties were resolved based on scores in physics, chemistry, and biology, with age and negative markings being considered if necessary.

New Tie-Breaking Rule: Preference will be given to the candidate with the highest grades in Biology, followed by Chemistry. In case of a tie, qualified candidates will be selected through a computer-generated drawing, eliminating human bias.
